There are paid ones that cost an arm and a leg, and there are free ones which cost nothing at all. They say because it is free that it might be of low quality, this isn’t true or at least not in this case as this free web directory is well taken care of and it is well optimized and well indexed. So why not submit your site to this free directory, you’ll have nothing to lose and only to gain.
Submit it here and remember to choose the best category and submit them to the deepest part of the category to insure qualification for inclusion to this free internet directory.
If you have an internet directory, then submit them on this category.

I wish they would stop submitting in the Top categories, this is insane. I think whatever software they are using would not allow them to submit deeper than that, or it seem that way. What’s suprising is that some of them are coming from directories. I don’t know what many directory owners do to handle this, but it’s driving me nuts. I spect spammy submissions and I believe it is a part of having to deal with having a free web directory, but one thing i’ve notice that most now it seem’s to be a never stopping moment, is that they submit to the very top of the categoies.
I don’t approve any that do unless they have purchase a featured, then I will move them. When I get 1/3 rd of submissions and plus 60% spammy’s I barely could approve any websites. My approval rate is 8 per 100.
One thing about running a free web directory is, is that I cannot use the free versions of phpLD. The process of editing such’s site take too long just to delete. So I think after this post I will convert to 3.6 (the paid version)
If you want to run a free web directory folks, don’t use the phpLD 2x, you’ll want the Paid version, The difference? It has the “click all” function:)

I’m really not in a hurry to fill-up my web directory. I’m getting the same submittion that I got from when I launch LinkPawn.com just the other day and it seem as if i’m a keeper of their domains, it wont happen here and i’m going to take my time and hand submit some respectable sites myself.
“What the” One guy keeps submitting about 20+web directory in the same category. He submits them in the Free Directories category creating a pagination two pages of this guy’s directory. I deleted most of them and approved only two just how I did when he tried to do the same with LinkPawn the other day.

I had one guy that submitted in the Outdoors category and mostly of fishing related (adsense) and on the phpLD admin it is listed by many diffrent names, but I know better. If they are in consistent order like you get more than 5 or more listings submitted in the same category, then it is most likely submitted by one person having more than one website for that same category and they think they are very clever by using a different names for each site they list and some will use a female or vice versa to make the editor think it is indeed a different person.
Well I get better as days go by and i’m currently deleting sites that list on the very top category, the very first site that I get to delete? a site is owned by a dp member name banless who owns the index-it or something. He had submitted it in the Top category of Directories and I happen to have lots of sub-categories - 24 sub-categories infact. Anyways, you may resubmit them if you happen to be reading this, but choose the right category as I mention at my post at DP that I will wont add them if they are submitted in the Top category.

Well here we go again, just launch IndexPawn a part of the “Pawn” family. Well let see - LinkPawn.com, IndexPawn.com, and the Queen. It only takes two Pawns to protect the queen;).
The Queen will be launch later as a Paid directory and it will be very quite as most wont submit to a new paid directory.
The Queen as it will be known will be work on and will try to get her to be a PR5 within the June’s PR update and will spend a lot of time and effort of trying to get that rank for her. I will also try to get her to rank for the keyword “Queen”. She will be known as the Queen of the Directories,..Sure and why not.
I’ve just announced IndexPawn at DigitalPoint Forum and will see how many submission I will get out of it. Many of those submissions are coming from the submission company or an individual that take the task of submitting a buncha website for the fraction of the cost.
Just submitted to Directory Critic and hopefully IndexPawn will get index in a couple of days.
Despite of announcing at DP to not submit to the Top Category, I get someone who owns a directory himself, submitted to the Top of Directories. I expect directory owners to do better. I don’t mind so much if they pay for a featured spots, at that point I might move it, but I wont move any of them for free and I need to stick to this rule, becuase running a phpLD 2x is not easy moving them from one category to the next.
